Aloe 'Safari Sunrise' Overview

Aloe 'Safari Sunrise' has been bred by Andy de Wet, based in South Africa. Designed for outdoor growing in xeric landscaping - arid conditions, this rosette-forming perennial has the added benefit of stunning red hot poker like flowers. This low maintenance Aloe cultivar is also a popular choice for growing in patio pots and is hardy down to -5C for short periods. Aloe 'Safari Sunrise' is the preferred selling name for Alow 'X5' protected under intellectual property laws by Plant Breeders' Rights. These provide the breeder of new plants exclusive control over the plant material for a set amount of time.

Overwatering or wet conditions can lead to fungal Root Rot, they're also prone to sap-sucking insects which can be located beneath leaves near the base of the plant.
