Hoya carnosa 'Tricolor' is a popular house plant, typically grown for its attractive waxy, colourful pink, green and creamy-white foliage and sweetly scented flowers. These flowers last about one week, they produce lots of nectar and have a strong sweet fragrance that it can fill an entire room at night. Also known by the names Tricolor Wax Plant, Fleshy-Leaved Wax Flower and Variegated Wax Plant, amongst others. When grown indoors, this climbing plant can grow quite tall and they are usually grown on small trellises or trained around wire or stakes. When the plant is young and small they can look attractive grouped together in a hanging basket.
