Arrowleaf Elephant's Ear Overview

Xanthosoma sagittifolium is a tropical, evergreen perennial species in the arum family, Araceae. Commonly known as Arrowleaf Elephant's Ear, and occasionally sold as Jungle Bush for growing indoors as a houseplant. This species grows to a large size, producing a yam-like tuber, and edible arrow-shaped leaves on long stems which are about 1m high. The flowers are greenish white and will appear throughout the year in tropical climates.
