Metallic Peperomia Overview

Peperomia metallica is an evergreen perennial that has succulent, leathery, metallic-looking leaves. It originates from Peru and is often grown indoors as a houseplant. Commonly known as Metallic Peperomia. Its heart-shaped foliage is relatively slow-growing but highly attractive. The leaves are dark green-black in colour with a silver-green streak down the centre and contrasting red undersides. It produces small flowers on spikes above the foliage. Peperomia metallica is tender and won't cope with freezing temperatures, provide with bright, partial shade and water infrequently.
