A slow growing deciduous shrub or small tree that forms a mound with arching shoots bearing rounded, lobed, deeply and finely cut leaves. These mid green leaves turn gold in autumn while it's small, spring borne pendent clusters of tiny, reddish-purple flowers develop into by red-winged fruit in summer.
