New Zealand Burr Overview

Also known as Acaena caerulea. A low and creeping perennial growing to 1m wide. It bears pinnate, blue leaves to 10cm divided into 7-13 obovate leaflets. Round, green-yellow flower heads are followed by red-brown burrs to 2cm in late summer.
