String Of Hearts 'Orange River' Overview
Ceropegia woodii 'Orange River' is a new cultivar of the popular 'String of Hearts' houseplant. This tuberous, evergreen perennial species produces long, trailing shoots bearing elongated arrow-shaped succulent leaves. These are deep-green with silver-coloured veining; however, they can become lighter if grown in brighter conditions. This plant can grow two to four metres long and will look amazing growing in hanging baskets or in a pot on a high shelf where its leaves can cascade and trail down. It also doesn't mind if you forget to water in once in a while. They also prefer cramped living quarters, so no need to re-pot every year and in summer will produce lantern-shaped pink-purple coloured flowers; that can last up to 6 weeks and measure approximately 2cm in length.
