Golden bell Overview
Forsythia is a genus containing around 11 deciduous shrubs from the Oleaceae family. These plants are native to Eastern Asia and Southeastern Europe. They have bright yellow flowers produced in early spring before the leaves develop. There are several cultivars and hybrids available, bred for their cheery early colour and tough, reliable reputation as hardy garden shrubs.
