Edelweiss Overview

A genus of 61 accepted species of herbaceous perennial flowering plants in the Asteraceae family originating from Europe and Asia. A well-known member of this genus is edelweis, and they are characterised by their unusual, felted white star-shaped bracts that surround a cluster of small yellow flowers.
