Globe mallow Overview
Commonly known as globe mallows, members of this genus of annuals, perennials, subshrubs and shrubs mostly originate from dry regions of North America. They have downy often glaucus leaves and stems and cup-shaped flowers produced singly or in sprays in late Summer. Several cultivars have been developed with a variety of flower colours. They prefer sharply draining soil rich in gravel, in full sun. Shelter will be required in colder areas.
