Pritchardia schattaueri Overview

This genus contains about 35 species of single-stemmed palms. They originate from Pacific regions where they grow in areas of high rainfall. They have ornamental fan-shaped, rich green or silvery green leaves which are borne in terminal tufts. They have small bell-shaped cream to orange coloured flower pikes or panicles between the leaves.
