Hellebores Overview

Helleborus is a genus of around 15 rhizomatous semi-evergreen or herbaceous perennial flowering plants in the Ranunculaceae family. They are native to Eurasia and many are popular garden plants. Grown for their deeply divided leaves and large nodding, bowl-shaped winter flowers composed of five petal-like sepals in a variety of colours and patterns that can persist for many months.
