The genus Linnaea was named for Carl Linnaeus, known as the father of modern taxonomy. This genus contains around 19 evergreen creeping, mat-forming shrubs in the Caprifoliaceae family. These plants are commonly known as Twinflower or Cinnamon Vine. They have compact foliage and small, drooping bell-shaped flowers. Their habit makes them especially suitable as shady rock garden groundcover plants.
How to propagate Twinflower
You can propagate by rooted runners in the spring, by softwood cuttings in summer.
Seed in autumn.
