Ghost Euphorbia Overview

Euphorbia ingens 'Variegata' is a branching, succulent, tree species from the Euphorbiaceae family. Commonly known by the names Euphorbia ingens Variegated Candelabra Tree and Ghost Euphorbia. If you are looking for a low maintenance addition to a rock or succulent garden this large cactus-like tree is ideal. It is often grown indoors as an interesting variegated houseplant. It is well suited to dry areas and forms an attractive, mottled green and white, leafless stems with 4-5, small-spined, ridges running vertically. On mature specimens, yellow-green flowers can appear, leading onto dark red-purple fruits.
