Arrowhead Plant Overview
Syngonium is a genus of around 35 species of evergreen root climbing plants in the arum family, Araceae, native to tropical rainforests in Central and South America. They are most commonly grown as houseplants for their attractive arrow-shaped foliage that matures into multilobed leaves. They produce arum-like flowers, but rarely in cultivation. Being tropical rainforest plants they are not frost hardy and are therefore most suitable as conservatory and glasshouse specimens. All parts toxic if eaten.
