Beach strawberry Overview
This species grows wild in coastal North and South America and is one of the parents of modern strawberries. It spreads by runners in dense tufts, the lower leaves forming rosettes. It reaches a height of 30cm and spreads to 50cm. The 5cm long, obovate, trifoliate leaves are deep green and hairy.
