Bottlebrush 'Mauve Mist' Overview

Callistemon 'Mauve Mist' is an evergreen shrub cultivar from the Myrtaceae family. They are grown for their eye-catching, 10cm long flowers. The blooms are coloured bright mauve-pink and grow in cylindrical spikes, they are rich in nectar and will attract birds to them. Callistemon plants are originally native to Australia, this plant is well suited to growing outdoors in mild climates but may be grown in most of the UK if given protection from severe freezing temperatures under -5 degrees Celcius. Also makes a good container specimen.
