Border Carnation 'Odessa' Overview
Dianthus 'Odessa' is a series of perennial cultivars with evergreen foliage, mat-forming habits and beautiful, showy, scented blooms. They come in a range of bright colours, including red, pink, white and bicoloured combinations of these. Foliage is narrow and grass-like. These hardy, free-flowering Dianthus plants are popular choices, as they grow slightly larger than some of the other favoured cultivar series such as 'Sunflor'. These plants suit placement further back in a border or informal cottage garden setting. Their frilly petals are particularly attractive, adding interesting texture to a garden display. They are also suited to growing in containers, due to their neat growth habit!
