Ant Overview
Anacamptis is a genus in the orchid family, Orchidaceae and contains around 34 species. Many of these are hybrids, bred from crossing different species in the Anacamptis genus. The natural species are found on dunes in Eurasia, ranging from the Mediterranean to Central Asia and these plants are also at home in grasslands and on carbonate rocks such as chalk or limestone.
