Snowy mespilus Overview
This is a deciduous shrub which grows to about 3m tall. The new growth of oval leaves is covered in hairs, but the leaves are soon smooth, and turn mid green in the summer, shades of coppery orange in the autumn. In the spring, white flowers appear and are followed by bluish fruits which are edible.
