Bladder senna Overview
Colutea is a genus of around 25 species of hardy, deciduous shrubs, they grow on to average 2-5m tall and are native to Southwest Asia, North Africa and areas of Southern Europe. Commonly cultivated for their attractive, divided foliage, yellow-orange, pea-shaped flowers and large showy seed pods, this genus grows well in poor soil and full sun. It has also been naturalised in the UK.
