Lepechinia Overview

A genus of shrubs in the mint family native to Central and South America and the Southern states of the US. There are 42 accepted species in the genus and they are commonly known as pitchersages for their sage-like appearance and attractive pitcher-shaped flowers. In cultivation they prefer a sunny position.
