Creeping Ox-eye Overview

Sphagneticola is a genus containing just 4 perennial species in the Asteraceae family. These plants are quite similar in appearance, producing green foliage and bright yellow flowers. They are commonly known by the name Creeping Ox-Eye and some species in this genus are considered invasive. One plant, S. trilobata, is listed in the top 100 of the worlds worst weeds by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
