Himalayan Lantern Overview

This genus consists of a mixture of evergreen or deciduous scandent shrubs and semi-scrambling climbers. The flowers will produce long-lasting tubular blooms. The name Agapetes comes from the Greek word 'agapetos' which means 'beloved'.
