Judas Tree Overview

Cercis is a small genus containing around 10 hardy deciduous tree or shrub species from the Fabaceae family. These plants are cultivated for their small, heart-shaped to round foliage and masses of small, pea-like, pink flowers. They thrive in warm temperate climates and are found in the Mediterranean, Central and Eastern Asia and North America and some may be evergreen in mild climates.
