Stachyurus Overview

The only genus in the Stachyuraceae family, members are small deciduous trees native to the Himalayas and Eastern Asia. They are cultivated for their drooping racemes of small bell-shaped flowers in pale green-yellows often tinged with pink. They prefer acid soils in moist but well-drained soils and are perfect for wall-training, woodland gardens and shrub borders.
