Nemophila Overview

A genus containing 13 species of erect or spreading annual flowering plants in the Boraginaceae family mostly native to the Western US with some found in Canada and Mexico and a few in the Southeastern US. Known commonly as baby-blue-eyes, members of this genus have simple or pinnately-divided opposite leaves, a bushy habit and are cultivated for their bowl-shaped blue or white flowers in Summer.
