Callistemon 'Perth Pink' Overview
Callistemon 'Perth Pink' is a compact evergreen shrub that produces arching branches coated in narrow, aromatic, leathery leaves. In spring it produces bright red flowers that resemble bottle brushes, measuring around 10cm long. Native to Australia, this plant is well suited to growing outdoors in mild climates but may be grown in most of the UK if given protection from severe freezing temperatures under -5 degrees Celcius. Previously known as Callistemon pearsonii 'Perth Pink' this plant has recently been re-classified and is now botanically called Melaleuca 'Perth Pink'.
