Wax Plant Overview

Hoya pubicalyx is also known by the name Wax Plant, Wax Flower or Porcelain Flower. It is a vigorous climbing vine species in the Apocynaceae family, that produces thick, waxy, succulent leaves. Hoya blooms are among the most exquisite blooms in creation! The white/pale pink star-shaped blooms look almost unreal. They have a delicate fragrance at night. They are often grown indoors as house plants and like bright, indirect light. This species originates from the Philippines, where it grows in trees. It is fast-growing, easy to propagate and responds well to pruning.
