Bittercress Overview

A fairly large genus of around 230 annual and perennial species originating from shady, damp habitats in most continents, except the Antarctic. Leaf structure varies between species ranging from tiny leaves to mid-sized, in simple, pinnate or bipinnate shapes. Flowers exhibit almost radial symmetry and are usually white or pink-purple and range in size from small to medium, averaging around 1-2cm wide.
