Phlox carolina Overview
Sometimes known as the 'Thick leaved phlox' it has thick lanced-shaped to ovate leaves about 12cm long. Pink or white flowers about 2cm in diameter are borne in summer.

Propagate rock and hybrids by basal cuttings from non-flowering shoots in spring or summer. Root cuttings in winter.
Species can be increased by seed in autumn or spring. Annuals can be propagated by seed in spring.
P.maculata, P.paniculata and their cultivators should be propagated by division in early spring.
