A fast growing, tall tree with dark green, bipinate leaves and clouds of yellow pom-pom flowers, each with five petals and conspicuous stamens, giving a fluffy appearance.

Other uses of Green Wattle

The seed pods can be used to produce a green dye. The flowers are edible and so is the gum which oozes from the trunk. Also grown for fuel, and as shade, and as a windbreak.
