Asiatic Jasmine Overview

Trachelospermum asiaticum is also known as Asiatic Jasmine. It is an evergreen, perennial climber with dark green leaves that are leathery to touch and glossy to look at. In summer it produces clusters of fragrant, creamy flowers that measure 2cm across. This plant will grow to a height of 6m or more with a similar spread. The leaves are oval about 2.5-5cm long dark green and glossy. The fragrant flowers are borne in mid-summer to mid-autumn and are creamy-white with a buff-yellow centre that fades to yellow. Trachelospermum asiaticum has earned a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
