Saw Palmetto Overview

This palm produces stems that are prostrate or creeping. The leaves are fan-shaped and held stiffly upwards, and are green to bluish or even silver. In early summer, creamy white scented flowers are hidden among the foliage. The fruits are egg-shaped and blackish when ripe.
