Herbaceous perennial species with a clumping growth habit that produces palmately-lobed foliage with jagged edges. These are interestingly coloured bronze in juvenile specimens, changing to a more reddish-purple colouration with age and displaying attractive autumn colour. White flowers are produced on branched panicles.
