    Falconer Overview

There are around 800 evergreen, semi-deciduous and deciduous shrubs and trees in this genus. They are grown mainly for their mass display of flowers, which will vary greatly in size from tiny blooms to large trumpets. They usually have clusters of blooms from the branch tips, and appear in every colour except bright blue. They are mainly broad leaved with roughly elliptical, usually deep green leaves.
