Cape primrose Overview
This genus consists of about 130 species of annuals, perennials and rarely subshrubs. There are various types, shrubby bushy species with vigorous growth, rosette plants, and single-leafed species which produce one very large leaf about 1m long. The flowers are tubular with 5 lobes.
