Achillea Overview
Achillea is a genus that contains approximately 85 deciduous flowering perennial plants and some semi-evergreen species. Featuring fern-like foliage and large flowers throughout summer and autumn. This hardy genus contains low-growing, mat-forming species and some tall species which may need staking. Most suitable for borders and rock gardens. Leaves are hairy and aromatic, coloured grey-green and the flowers resemble daisies (3-15mm) arranged in clusters on flattened heads (7-12cm).
