Parahebe 'Snowcap' Overview
Parahebe lyallii 'Snowcap' is a semi-evergreen shrub cultivar that produces lovely white blooms which have small darks spots on the petals and a pink/purple circle around the eye. These flowers contrast well with the glossy, dark green foliage which is toothed at the margins. Parahebe 'Snowcap' - the name under which it is usually grown - flowers from spring to summer. It prefers a well-drained, slightly alkaline soil and a sheltered position in full sun. Prostrate/mat-forming in habit, Parahebe 'Snowcap' are suitable for mixed borders, coastal, gravel or rock gardens. They are low maintenance but need to be protected from too much winter wet.
