Beautiful house in great location. Brewery and nice cafe, maze, rare breed animals and play area. See spent far too much time in the maze, plus a dog! Craft shops lovely we bought some well priced jewellery from Centaur Design, designed and made on the premises!
Amazing historical place, lots ti see, and real life history. Radiant maze and good refreshments. Lots of small traders selling high quality stuff. Loved it.

Had a wonderful visit to Traquair House recently. Which is has the most beautiful settings around. James who took us around on our tour was very friendly and enthusiastic about the history of Traquair making it a great experience. To see a place steeped in so much history and how the family had to hide their faith at the time. To preserve and share the history for generations to come it's worth a visit.

We recently were fortunate enough to stay and hold our wedding in the beautiful setting of Traquair House. The lovely Gillian ensued that every detail was taken care of to the very highest standard in order to make it a truly unforgettable occasion. Nothing was too much trouble for Gillian nor for the lovely housekeeper and waiting staff who ensured that our entire stay was so enjoyable from beginning to end..The signed print of Traquair House gifted by the owner, the 21st Lady of Traquair, Catherine Maxwell Stuart, was another lovely touch. We would highly recommend and fully intend to revisit in years to come. With highest regards Sheila and Jim Grant
