We really enjoyed our time at Kylemore! I hope to come back again earlier in the day so we can take advantage of the many walking trails around the grounds. The castle is lovely and had great interactive displays and such. Enjoyed the gift shop, and all of the staff were very friendly around the grounds. I'm hoping that when indoor dining returns, there will be additional food choices available. Some healthier options would be great, as it was mostly sandwiches and the like. What we did have was very tasty though, and I look forward to sitting in the tea rooms next time. Also, it would be nice if there were more candles provided in the church or if they were refreshed throughout the day. Toward the end of the day, there were none left to light which was a bummer. Overall, we had a great time and we will definitely be back. I think it's great value for the price of admission. And a fabulous drive there and back to boot!

Loving the Victorian interior so much! Surprisingly not as big as it looks from the outside, but beautiful all the same. The detail placement of each stuff and ornament makes you feel nostalgic and wonder how the life of the Henry families back then was. I especially love the dining room. Both Kylemore Abbey & the Victorian Walled Garden are truly a feast for the eyes, not to mention the surrounding lake and woods. I would say spare 3-4 hours here to fully explore the whole place.
Such a magnificent and stunning place. So enchanting and peaceful. The abbey tour is very informative. The grounds are pristine. The little coffee cafes all over make a lovely addition for stopping to take it all in. Try the rhubarb and ginger jam. Honestly, if heaven had a jam!

Extraordinary place with exceptional customers service. We visited this place with family (2 adults and 2 kids) and we had the time of our life. It's amazing panoramic views and atmosphere is so special. I feel like in the movie about mid ages. We will definitely come back again , and again and again. Apple pie with custard must try and lamb stew is fingers licking meal. Brilliant experience

Spent a wonderful day here on Fathers day. With four small kids, always looking for something new to do and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful setting, fabulously kept. All staff we encountered were warm and friendly and welcoming. The place was immaculate and all public areas were clean and tidy. Bathrooms were really clean too which is rare. The food in the restaurant was also great. Great value for a family too. Highly recommend a visit.
