A rare member of the Campanula family, may be grown in an alpine or rockery setting. This charming perennial has Geranium-like, mid-green, velvety leaves and produces masses of light, lilac-blue, nodding, bell-shaped flowers in early to mid-summer. Blooms are held on contrasting, wiry, red stems. Best grown in average to dry, well-drained soil in partial shade. It is sun tolerant when adequate moisture is available.
