Growing Information Sow liberally but not too thickly, into finely raked, firmed, moist soil or compost in containers, beds or borders at a depth of 1.3cm (½") in rows 15cm (6") apart. No thinning is necessary. Grows best in well prepared soil manured the previous autumn or a quality compost if grown in containers. Water freely during periods of dry weather.
