The plant likes moist roots but an aerated soil.

Grows up to 0.5m in height with a 0.5m spread. Takes 6 months to reach maturity.
Soil
Fertile Loam – The soil type that we all love! It contains silt, sand and clay.
Sandy – Large particles that feel dry and gritty and can't hold water.
Clay – The smallest soil particles which retain water well and feels sticky when wet and smooth when dry.
Tender
This plant will not survive cold temperatures.

All green parts of the plant are poisonous, particularly to pets like cats and dogs.
The fruit can cause stomach problems if eaten raw. The leaves and pollen sometimes lead to allergic reactions for sensitive skin types.
