Packet Content 12 seeds Compact type for containers or gardens Early fruiting Easy to grow A compact variety (ideal for garden or container) producing smaller, earlier maturing fruits of 1-2lbs. Cooks well in the microwave - simply pierce the skin in a few places and cook for about 12 minutes. High resistance to powdery mildew. Harvest August-October. Growing Information: Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or one seed (on edge) per 7.5cm (3") pot in a greenhouse at approximately 20-25°C (68-78°F) using a good quality moist compost. Cover seeds with 19mm (¾") compost. Germination 5-8 days. Grow on, planting out when frost risk has passed. Plant in a container at least 45cm (18") diameter or 90cm (36") between plants if planted in the garden. Alternatively sow direct late May into soil placing 2 seeds per station 90cm (36") each way. Thin to one plant per station. Produces up to 5 fruits around 1kg (2.2lb) each. Sowing ➞ Cropping: 14 weeks.
