The UK's top sweet pea growers descend on Harlow Carr to compete in over 70 classes to win awards. Learn more about the varieties and take home some of the best plants the growers have to offer.

Natural Perfume and Aromatherapy

This workshop will teach you how to create your own perfume using aromatic botanical ingredients and essential oils.

Borde Hill Brass Festival

Brass band musicians young and old will be treating picnic goers to a day of excellent brass music set in the beautiful setting of Borde Hill Garden.

Sussex Gin and Food Fest

Belvoir Flower & Garden Festival

Expanding on 2018's Flower Festival, this event describes itself as a 'picnic in the park meets Chelsea Flower Show'. Live music, show gardens, exhibitors and stalls for all your garden needs makes us think their description may not be far off the truth!

Flatford Tudor Fayre 1542 with the Companye of Merrie Folke

Valley Farm, Flatford, 13th July, 10am - 5pm
Step back in time to 1542 as the garden of Valley Farm is transformed into a Tudor Fayre. You can try your hand at Tudor crafts, like basket making or spoon carving, be entertained by musicians and dancers and watch Tudor folk at work and play.

Kite Festival

Berrington Hall, 13th, 10am - 4pm
Bring or borrow a kite to take to the skies with kite enthusiasts of all levels. There will even be a space to make your own to fill the sky with colour.

Cactus Show

Members of the British Cactus and Succulent Society will be competing in their annual show, displaying rare and impressive specimens. Experts will also be on hand to answer any questions.

Planting for Plantaholics
