This cultivar is an evergreen shrub species with a bushy growth habit, reaching a maximum side of around 4m high and 2.5m wide. Foliage is green and ovate, flowers funnel-shaped and violet-blue coloured. The flowers have frilled petals and tend to get paler towards the centre. They are produced in terminal clusters known as trusses.
