Norway Spruce Overview
Evergreen conifer with a dense, fast growth habit, maximum height is over 30m and this species can spread over 8m wide. Grows into a narrow, conical shape that becomes broader with age. Foliage is shiny, dark green and reduced to needle-like structures measuring around 2.5cm long. These are borne on upper branch surfaces and cones with tapered tops are also produced, measuring around 5cm wide and 15cm long.
