Perovskia atriplicifolia is a deciduous perennial that typically grows to around 1.2m high. Produces white, woody-based stems with finely divided grey-green foliage and purple-blue, trumpet-shaped flowers arranged in terminal, branched inflorescences. Flower buds and stems to some extent are covered in fine downy hairs.
