Beardtongue 'Raven' Overview
Penstemon 'Raven' is a semi-evergreen perennial cultivar from the Plantaginaceae family. it has a clumping habit and typically grows to around 1m tall, producing deep purple flowers. The flowers are bell-shaped, with white throats and red striping, flowers measure around 4.5cm. The genus Penstemon is large and consists of about 250 species of deciduous, evergreen or semi-evergreen annuals, perennials, sub-shrubs. The leaves will appear in opposite pairs in whorls, and the flowers have 2 lobes on the upper lip and 3 on the lower.
